Come learn the longsword the way Marozzo taught it — as a whole system, not a bag of tricks. Randy Packer has been a martial artist for over forty years and has spent over twenty of those years teaching Historical European swordplay. In this workshop we'll work through the Bolognese tradition of Achille Marozzo (1536) — its guards, its flow, and the logic that ties them together — building real, practical skill through games and live problems rather than rote drills. Bring some fencing experience and your curiosity; you'll leave understanding why it all hangs together.
Gear requirements include: Fencing mask, Gorget, a two handed sword.
there will be some equipment available but the best you can supply yourself is appreciated.
